Does it have CE? (how about FCC and China?)

Why can’t I use my mobile instead of a tablet?

You can actually use your mobile phone to pair with the device, our software works well with most Android mobile phones and currently updated IOS versions are on the works

Can I install this on my tablet/PC?

It depends on your current Tablet hardware specification. Please contact your sales representative or support staff for further details. For PC, our devices do not work with desktop PCs

Can I clean the lens unit? How?

The lens is intricately designed and sensitive, we highly recommend that you follow the care instructions provided upon purchase and clean the lens as prescribed. If you are unsure of what to do, kindly contact sales representative

How long would it take to repair the lens unit?

Length of time of repair depends on the type of device failure and situation. Regularly, it would take around 7 working days exclusive of shipping period. Please contact us at support@chowis.com for exact period of time.

For software development, how long would it take time and cost?

Depends on the requirement.

Can I import image data captured by other microscope?

Unfortunately, it’s impossible. The reason why, CHOWIS needs to use images captured by our device. Therefore, we can’t provide appropriate diagnosis result with the image captured by other microscope device.

Can you develop diagnosis software for self counseling style?

We would like to know the diagnostic accuracy of your devices on African skin and if it has feed data on African skin

We are proud to say that our devices are one of the few which can measure all the skin types including Caucasian, African and Asian. We are gearing towards more improvement on African skin types too.

Is the device able to measure the thickness of the hair? Or we have to measure manually?

Yes , Our dermobella hair Diagnosis System is able to measure the thickness of the hair. Measurement needs to be done manually for hair thickness analysis because when two strands of hair overlap,the automatic function can not analyze that these are actually strands of hair with overlapping roots.Therefore, measuring manually the hair thickness makes it more accurate.

Client Customization and Sales

Regarding Maintenance, does it need an additional cost after development completion or not? Or do we need to pay monthly (or annual) fee for maintenance.

Not needed. No annual or maintenance fee will be collected from you after development completion. Kindly report if you have been asked to pay for any additional cost so we can address this issue.

Where can I get AS in Europe, Africa, Asia, China?

Please contact the vendor or distributors you purchased, first. CHOWIS recommends purchasing a tablet that adheres to certain conditions of LCD resolution. The system works with a majority of wireless tablets and mobile phonesThere may be some that the system may not support so it is best to contact support@chowis.com for more information

Do you supply the tablets with the device?

For international shipment, there is a limited device shipment with Li-ion battery. Please feel free contact to sales representative for further information.

Can you change the layout(color, style, font)?

Yes, CHOWIS can change layout and need to receive detail information(ex, pantone color, font style…) .

What’s the servicing and warranty policy for these devices?

Standard warranty period is 12 months or 1 year; we highly recommend immediate feedback and communication when device is received to double check functionality and ease as you use our products. We offer installation assistance and device usage online walk through via Skype.

What’s the return/exchange policy for these products?

If the device is broken upon arrival and clearly it is the manufacturer’s fault, we can replace the broken units with new ones within a month.

What’s the current lead time?

Depending on the quantity of purchase, we have a standard lead time of 4 to 8 weeks from the order. We can normally provide the units within 2-4 weeks if we have available units from the warehouse.
